Founder's Park
Founders Park is a 2-plus acre green space located in front of the Old State Bank in Downtown Decatur. The park was created in the 1900s to help preserve the frontal view of the Old State Bank. Founder's Park also provides green space for the adjacent historic downtown and historic residential neighborhoods. The park is home to the Daikin Amphitheater which includes lights, power and a state-of-the-art sound system. The amphitheater is host to a variety of events throughout the year such as Concerts in the Park, the Enchanted Forrest and a multitude of weddings and runs.
