The Turner-Surles Community Center is a state-of-the-art facility built with functionality in mind. Funds from the federal government through the Community Development Block Grant Program built this facility along with a partnership through the City of Decatur. This 3,672 square foot space is available for rent. Call 256-341-4983 to check the availability for reservations of one of the meeting rooms or the banquet hall.
Turner-Surles is home to one of NARCOG's Senior Centers. Seniors gather for activities, fellowship and lunch each day. Contact the Senior Center Manager for more information at 256-341-4981.
Turner-Surles is also home to the City's Therapeutics program. Therapeutic clients gather at the center for activities and socialization each day. Contact Kellie Sims for more information at 256-341-4982.
