The Turner-Surles Senior Center is a state-of-the-art facility built with functionality in mind.  Funds from the federal government through the Community Development Block Grant Program built this facility along with a partnership through the City of Decatur.  This 3,672 square foot space is available for rent at a reduced rate based on wages to individuals who provide proof of income and for non-profit organizations.  Businesses can rent at full price.  The Center is operated by a Facility Supervisor and an Activity Coordinator.  Call 256-341-4983 to check the availability for reservations of the meeting room.
